After the sudden death of her husband Steve (Timothy Olyphant) in a brutal parking lot confrontation Margaret (Marisa Tomei) and her son Marcus (Charlie Plummer) must come to terms with the loss and deal with their grief while also facing the additional hardship of the loss of his income to their household. In the aftermath of the tragedy, Margaret turns to the bottle while Marcus distances himself. As things spiral further and further out of control, the two must come together to reunite as a family after their string of heartbreak.
